About the Event

This special series has been on our minds for a long time, and 2020 has finally afforded us some unique opportunities to explore it! Barn & Table Catering and Come On Up to the Farm are excited to invite some of our favorite guest chefs and producers from around Maine to collaborate with us at our home base at Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn.

First up are our dear friends at Broad Arrow Farm Market & Custom Butcher in Bristol. This dinner will celebrate Broad Arrow Farm’s heritage breeds, ethical practices and brand new Supper Club series of expertly prepared value added products from their new production kitchen.

Chefs Omen Viele (Formerly of Fore Street and 555 in Portland) and Dustin Martin (Formerly from Primo in Rockland) will join our Barn & Table staff in the Wood Fired kitchen to prepare five delicious courses served al fresco under the lights in the newly reimagined flower garden at Caswell Farm.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Somali Bantu Community Association in their Little Jubba Agrarian Commons fundraising efforts. This project is working to secure a permanent home for New American farmers in Maine to take ownership of their production and lend their cultural identities to diversifying the fabric of the state’s agricultural landscape.

A Cash bar will be avaialble by our Partners at The Bar Association and the Evening will begin with a cocktail hour social from 5:00-6:00pm, with Dinner being served at 6:30pm.

Please feel free to dress appropriately for a "Farm Chic" evening. Sensible Shoes, Sundresses, your best Blue Jeans, Button Downs and Stellar Hats are all encouraged. A photographer will be on site and photos will be shared via Social Media.

The menu will be prepared as printed and we will have limited ability to accommodate changes or dietary requests on site. Please email barnandtable@gmail.com before purchasing your tickets with any dietary restrictions.
